Thanks to all who made our fete on Saturday May 18th such a great success. Games, stalls, burgers, classic cars, salsa dancing and music from Stagecraft made for an enjoyable afternoon. No rain! An amazing £1,200 was made to boost the church’s coffers.
£92.75 was raised from the clothe sale. The proceeds have been split 50:50 between Inter-arc the charity we are supporting in 2013 and our own fundraising for new tables.
As a result of hearing about the work of Inter-arc at our service on 17 February, we have chosen to support the work of this charity throughout 2013. The Monday Club will be leading the fundraising. Any suggestions or ideas would be gratefully received
