Sunday 19 January 2014 saw Tim and Julie Godwin (both serving police officers) illustrate their talk on the Armour of God  (Ephesians 6:10) with a contemporary demonstration of the protective clothing and equipment that police use to protect themselves against the dangers and problems they can face in their daily duties.  The congregation saw represented: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, shoes of peace, the shield of faith and the helmet of salvation.  The Rev. Paul Holmes modeled the equipment, although fitting the helmet of salvation was a bit of a struggle!
