As part of our Christian Life, we support charities and good causes by fundraising.

2014

During 2014 we will be supporting local charities which have identified and are providing vital support to meet needs in the City of Coventry and in the area around our church.

We are boosting our efforts to support the local foodbank by each month focusing on a particular food item.

2013

During 2013 we supported Inter-arc.  Inter-arc is a Christian charity based in Coventry which supports projects for under-privileged children in Rumania and India.  It provides homes, healthcare and education opportunities for abandoned, poor and “street” children.  The total raised was £440.

We again supported Operation Christmas Child by filling shoe boxes with gifts for underprivileged children.

2012

In 2012 we raised over £1000 for Zoë’s Place, a local hospice for babies and children.  Fundraising events included:

• car wash;
• sponsored stay awake;
• Easter Coffee Morning;
• Afternoon Tea;
• Sunday Morning Breakfast.

We also supported Operation Christmas Child by filling Shoe Boxes with gifts and day to day  essentials as part of the Samaritan’s Purse charity’s initiative to send Christmas gifts to underprivileged children around the world.
